I always drive by this place on my way home from work so it was nice to finally try it. This cute family run joint (the teenage son took our order and even brought out the food) makes some pretty good teriyaki.
What makes this place stand out was how big their portions were. That's a lot of food for less than $7! The chicken was pretty tasty; cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
Oak Tree would have gotten 3.5 stars but it only gets 3 because of the plating. As you can see, it came on a paper plate and there were only plastic utensils. The whole experience would've been better if they used real dinnerware instead. The lobby could've also used a touch of color to make the place livelier. I would definitely eat here again for some cheap, quick and delicious teriyaki.
